Baby Jogger City Mini
The City Mini is a full-size stroller that doesn't really make a statement in any way, except that it's extremely light and compact when folded. It also scores well in all of our categories. However, it doesn't score as highly as some of its peers due to the poor placement of the peek-a-boo and storage that's a bit restricted.
This is a good stroller for families who need something to help them get through the everyday and occasional adventures. It comes with a wide footrest that is cushioned. This will make it more comfortable for toddlers. The seat reclines fairly flat, but it took us two hands to do. The adjustable calf supports are an attractive feature that will allow your child's feet to lift up when they get tired.
The City Mini, like many other strollers we have listed features a huge canopy that is UV50. Parents are raving about it. The sun shade is designed beautifully and can be pulled completely down. This is great because it shields your child from sun, without having to constantly tuck the shade back into place.
Another excellent characteristic of the City Mini is that it can be converted into a double stroller by attaching an accessory kit. This gives you the option of using any Baby Jogger car seat and creating a travel system right from the beginning. The only drawback is that the addition of a second seat can alter the look and feel of the stroller significantly and some parents may be a bit hesitant to navigate once they've gotten used to it.
Another alternative to the City Mini is the City Mini GT Double Stroller. This model is slightly more expensive than the single City Mini but it does include additional features, such as "forever air" rubber tyres and suspension which makes it suitable for off-roading. It also has an adjustable handlebar as well as a hand-operated parking brake that makes it more comfortable to use than the standard City Mini.
